Just like IJMB, JUPEB is a direct entry admissions programme that enables students to gain admission into the university without Jamb. The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is in charge with the approval of the government and other relevant education bodies in the country.

 

WHAT IS JUPEB ABOUT

JUPEB simply means Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board. JUPEB is a national examination body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria in December 2013. It was formally established in April 2014 by a consortium of ten partnering universities led by the University of Lagos.

JUPEB, just like IJMB, was designed to provide alternative for university admission seekers, especially those who are interested in gaining direct entry admissions without Jamb.

  • Another difference is the school fees. IJMB fees is between #150,000 and #180,000 while JUPEB school fees is between #220, 000 and #250,000.
  • IJMB Registration Form is officially sold for #8,000 while JUPEB Registration Form is officially sold for #10,000.
